Figma is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Frontend Platform team, you will be responsible for shaping the technical strategy and direction of our frontend codebase.

As a leader, you will manage, support, and grow a team of experienced engineers to drive Figma's frontend technical strategy. You will empower our internal frontend developers to quickly ship high-quality features and partner with product and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Typescript and React, as well as a proven track record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers. Experience working with other web frameworks like Redux, Atoms, and tools and frameworks for building Web applications like Webpack, CSS tools like Tailwind, and CI/CD of Web applications adopting best practices for testing and observability like Sentry, Datadog is a plus.
