We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team at Haven Behavioral Healthcare. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient intake process for patients seeking mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health screenings for inpatient psychiatric admission
  • Respond to call inquiries and obtain necessary information for admissions
  • Facilitate mental health admissions and make referrals as needed
  • Complete pre-authorization of services and welcome patients upon arrival
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • CPI/CPR certification and current licensure or certification preferred
  • Mental health experience and crisis management skills a plus
