Mental Health Therapist

The Mental Health Therapist II plays a vital role in our treatment team, collaborating with staff from diverse mental health, education, and medical backgrounds.
As a key member of the team, the Therapist II assists in planning and delivering clinical services, case coordination, intervention, consultation, and education services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate adherence to Premier Health's Patient Experience philosophy, guidelines, and tools.
- Demonstrate strong ethics, honesty, and adherence to Premier Health's Code of Conduct and Compliance Program.
- Schedule, provide, and document all clinical services accurately and according to departmental standards, utilizing evidenced-based practices.
- Collaborate with referral sources, internal team members, and external educational and service providers to ensure appropriate patient care and continuity of care.
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the provided clinical services and intervention methods.
- Seek medical provider consultations regarding clinical needs of patients and maintain ongoing communication for coordinating and evaluating patient care.
- Demonstrate strong customer satisfaction skills in providing clinical care services and coordinating care with referral sources and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Premier Health's clinical records and assigned Program paperwork standards.
- Apply competencies to the provision and documentation of clinical records, including resolving failed activities and alerts within required timeframes.
- Demonstrate compliance with agency standards for administration and reporting of outcome measures and documentation of utilization management of clinical care.
- Demonstrate knowledge of other regulatory standards and ensure clinical records are maintained in compliance at all times.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Information Technology policies and procedures and apply them to the documentation of clinical care according to clinical records and other agency standards.
- Ensure all credentialing paperwork for managed care and other reimbursement parties is maintained in compliance with standards.
- Attend required staff meetings and trainings, including annual Healthstream trainings, and participate in case conferences as needed.
- Meet consistently with Program Supervisor and as needed to review clinical care of patients according to licensing and agency standards and agency supervision plan.
- Participate in and complete monthly Peer Reviews.
- Ensure productivity standards are met consistently as applicable to departmental standards.
