Job Description
HealthStream is a leading healthcare workforce solutions company, and we are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our software development team, you will design, develop, and maintain software products that enhance the quality of healthcare delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include working with senior developers to refine requirements, designing and estimating effort for new features or sub-systems, and developing quality, defect-free software that adheres to company coding and documentation standards. With a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for innovation, you will be responsible for adhering to HealthStream's security policies and procedures. This non-management development position offers opportunities for individual growth and collaboration with a cohort of talented software developers in our Nashville office. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 1-2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or closely related occupation. Strong knowledge and competence in .NET (latest), including C#, database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or similar, web technologies including HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript are required. A basic understanding of scripting and automation in JavaScript, .Net Core 1.x/2.x, ASP.NET, and Agile Development Process(es) is preferred. Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
