Key Responsibilities:- Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with finding products and services, including recommending items for sale and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items.
- Process customer transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
- Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
- Prefer good computer skills.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
- Prefer PTCB certification.
