The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Rehabilitation Hospital Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Initiate and implement rehabilitation nursing interventions to promote patient independence and optimal outcomes.
- Provide compassionate and individualized care to patients with diverse needs and conditions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
- Current Montana state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
- BLS certification.
- IV Certified or obtained within 6 months (highly preferred).
- Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
