Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled American Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in schools. As an ASL Interpreter, you will play a critical role in ensuring that children who are deaf or hard of hearing have equal access to education. If you are passionate about supporting children's education and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality services, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Provide American Sign Language interpretation services to children who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other professionals to ensure that children receive equal access to education.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and school staff to ensure that interpretation services meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in American Sign Language interpretation and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Graduate from an accredited program in American Sign Language interpretation or a related field.
- Current ASL License in ND.
- Previous school experience preferred but not required.
- Full-Time, School-Based Positions for all ASL Interpreters for the School Year.
