EquipmentShare is actively seeking a Service Technician for our Advanced Solutions division. As our team expands, we are looking for skilled individuals to join us.

Sign-On Bonus: A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified new hires.

Role Overview: The Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment and machinery, both for our customers and our own fleet. Technicians will have the chance to work with the latest equipment in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safe practices while performing equipment repairs.
  • Utilize technology, including laptops and tablets, with ease.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, power generators, HVAC units, and diesel systems.
  • Support the training of junior technicians as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the logistics of equipment and parts delivery.
  • Possess knowledge of OSHA regulations (preferred).

Field Responsibilities: When necessary, travel to customer locations for equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring that service vehicles are kept clean and professional.

Work Schedule: This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with standard hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and overtime pay for hours exceeding 40 per week. Weekend on-call duties may be required in special circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and ability to interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Must possess personal tools relevant to the position.
  • Capability to lead projects and manage personnel with minimal supervision.

Education: High School diploma required; trade school certification preferred. Field service experience is a plus. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to move freely, stand, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds. This is a safety-sensitive role, and employment offers are contingent upon passing a drug screening.
