Job Summary

Noble Casing Inc is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our operations in the North Dakota oil fields. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment and machinery vital to our oil field operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate winch and flatbed trucks to transport drilling rigs, pipes, and other heavy equipment within and between oil field sites.
  • Load Security: Secure all loads according to company guidelines and DOT regulations to ensure safe transport of materials and equipment.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on winch trucks and associated equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
  • Navigation: Navigate rural and rough road conditions safely and efficiently.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and cargo details in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Adaptability: Respond to varying weather conditions, adapting driving techniques and routes as necessary.
  • Communication: Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Dispatcher/Supervisor.
  • Documentation: Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
  • Administrative: Prepares receipts/paperwork for load picked up.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Loads and unloads truck.
  • Equipment Inspection: Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Emergency Repairs: Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
  • Cargo Security: Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 105,500 pounds to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one location to another.
  • Safety and Security: Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of equipment at job site.
  • Flexibility: Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Education and/or Experience

Mathematical Skills
