Capital Markets Business Analyst

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team in the Capital Markets domain. As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributor to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting, defining problems, proposing and creating solutions. You will also play a key role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution.

You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building. You will help detail the project scope and shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Experience in Capital markets functions and trading in Equity, Derivatives, and OTC.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience working in Capital markets functions and trading in Equity, Derivatives, and OTC.
  • At least 6 years of experience in requirement elicitation techniques like JAD/sessions, workshops, interviews, surveys, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and draw succinct conclusions to present findings.
  • At least 6 years of experience around Business analysis, Impact analysis, Gap analysis, and System analysis performed to a high standard.
  • At least 6 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process.
  • Rich experience on Middle office and back-office operations.
  • Ability to gather detailed, specific, accurate, unambiguous business requirements and functional specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
  • Good exposure to Agile methodologies (preferably Agile Scrum) as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Co-ordination skills.
  • Stakeholder management and reporting.
  • Project and talent management.
  • Experience with project management and relevant tools.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
