About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
