Role Summary

We are in search of a proficient Lead Backend Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in team leadership and demonstrate expertise in Python and Go programming languages, alongside AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers and product managers to outline feature specifications and contribute to the development of innovative products.
  • Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure management and optimization, ensuring high availability and resilience.
  • Implement robust security protocols and ensure adherence to industry compliance standards.
  • Guide junior engineers and perform code reviews to uphold software quality.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and cybersecurity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud services.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Go.
  • Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and automated testing frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must possess US Work Authorization.
  • Candidates must be located within the US for consideration.
