About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a Ground Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance of stabilized stationary machinery and equipment. Your key maintenance functions will include inspections, minor troubleshooting, repairing, removing, and replacing components, cleaning, and assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on passenger loading bridges, staff's baggage handling system, ground power cables, and stationary equipment.
  • Repair and build-up of non-specialized components on specialized equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with GSE Supervision to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to industrial powered systems.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and apply information found in technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
