About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a Ground Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our stationary equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Work with a team to maintain and repair passenger loading bridges, air handler hoses, gear boxes, and other equipment
  • Respond to customer needs and perform repairs in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other Delta personnel and outside vendors to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree or related military experience preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment
  • Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
  • Proficient in English and ability to read and comprehend technical documents
