About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipette Calibration Specialist to join our team at Aldinger Co., a leading provider of laboratory equipment calibration services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pipette calibration, repair, and maintenance services to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Work independently in our in-house lab and at customer locations to provide high-quality calibration services.
  • Ensure all pipettes meet industry standards and are performing accurately before returning them to customers.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pipette calibration and repair.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in pipette repair, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including written and verbal communication, to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage daily pipette workload, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Enter and document customer pipettes into databases, perform As Found and As Left gravimetric evaluations, and provide calibration certificates.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with pipette use and operation in a laboratory or calibration service environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of repair and preventive maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of the metric system, especially volume (uL, mL).
  • Proven ability to install/remove small parts and components.
  • Able to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and sit for long periods of time.
  • Able to push and roll up to 150lbs on a cart/dolly.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with a keen eye for details.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
