Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned SAP professional who possesses a strong customer service orientation, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a collaborative spirit. This role demands an innovative thinker who is willing to challenge conventional practices to enhance customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as Product Costing, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Budgeting, particularly within an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with FI/CO Master Data, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and General Ledger (GL) processes.
- Support corporate reporting timelines and assist with month-end and year-end financial activities.
- Serve as an internal consultant and design architect for SAP FI/CO solutions, collaborating with IT and Finance teams to optimize business processes.
- Lead initiatives post-implementation to broaden the use of SAP solutions and enhance FI/CO processes enterprise-wide.
- Identify opportunities for process standardization and ensure compliance with global standards.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable SAP Finance and Controlling functionalities.
- Develop, prototype, test, and implement enhancements to improve system stability and user experience.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users, sharing best practices and insights.
- Stay informed about new SAP technologies that enhance user experience, such as Fiori and SAP Screen Personas.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with substantial cost accounting experience.
- Over 5 years of combined business and configuration experience in SAP FI/CO modules, particularly in Cost and Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and General Ledger.
- Experience with integration points between SAP FI/CO and other modules like SD, VC, MM, PS, PP, and HR.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP implementation processes, including business analysis, system configuration, testing, and user training.
- Proven ability to deliver services effectively in a remote working environment with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 6; familiarity with S/4 HANA is advantageous.
- Global experience and discrete manufacturing knowledge are beneficial.
- Understanding of SAP PS, particularly regarding Work in Progress (WIP) and Revenue Accounting (RA).
- ABAP debugging and SAP security experience are a plus.
- Familiarity with LSMW is advantageous.
