Propane Systems Service Specialist

The primary responsibilities of the Service Technician will involve the installation and maintenance of propane systems. Training on products and equipment will be provided by the company to ensure proficiency in the services offered.

Work Schedule: The standard workweek is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend shifts, on-call duties, and opportunities for overtime during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Operations: Perform service and installation tasks, including setting tanks and installing external distribution lines.
  • Propane Deliveries: Support propane delivery operations as required.
  • General Plant Duties: Assist with maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage in customer service and sales activities.
  • Additional Tasks: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Basic skills in mechanical and plumbing work.
  • Preferred: CDL-B license with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrakes endorsements. Candidates may have the opportunity to obtain training for a CDL.
  • No restrictions on lifting capabilities.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours calls on a rotating schedule with colleagues.
