We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Transit Operator. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our public transportation system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a vehicle without distractions and take care of our passengers
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and follow established procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Operate a vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
  • Follow all BCRTA policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
