Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Butler County Regional Transit Authority. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel and gasoline engines.
- Inspect and maintain safety equipment on each vehicle.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in vehicle maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of diesel or automotive repair experience preferred.
- CDL Class B with Airbrake endorsement required; clean motor vehicle record and valid Ohio driver's license with less than 4 points.
- ASE certifications a plus; ability to obtain preferred.
