About the Role

As a Mobile Service Mechanic at Home Depot U.S.A., INC. in Phoenix, AZ, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a fleet of rental equipment. The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a fleet of rental equipment at store locations or customer job sites with an emphasis on preventive maintenance.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all units at each store location.
  • Inspect equipment for rental readiness, safe operation, and store appearance standards.
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment and order parts as needed.
  • Respond to service calls and utilize company technology to document all work performed on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience servicing construction equipment, preferably light construction equipment maintenance knowledge and/or skills including small engines and hydraulics.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, and others.
