Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Medical Technician to join our clinical team servicing the Phoenix, AZ area. As a Mobile Healthcare Professional, you will work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified (mobile) laboratory, providing daily patient care and gaining valuable experience on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities- Work under supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
- Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
- IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
- Splint application
- Wound care
- Work directly with point of care laboratory equipment including operation, calibration, and maintenance
- Perform EKGs
- Assist NP/PAs in the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
- Documentation
- Supply and stocking
- Medical Technician with IV Certification
- Basic Certification with AZ,EMT License (hiring credential only)
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a core science or lab science and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with experience using an i-STAT device, are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- BLS, American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
