As part of this role, the accountant will enhance their research and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to ensure precision.
  • Prepare various schedules to support the financial information presented.
  • Execute and record journal entries and account reconciliations primarily concerning various asset and liability accounts, including but not limited to debt, interest accruals, other assets, and capitalized software.
  • Compile and generate monthly internal financial reporting packages.
  • Support annual, quarterly, or monthly closing processes.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned, such as technical accounting research and process enhancements.
  • Assist internal and external auditors during interim reviews and year-end audits.
  • Stay informed on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, SEC regulations, and other pertinent accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies to avoid penalties and interest.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

Preferred Background/Skills:

  • CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP.
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
