Advanced Care Specialist

Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a 314-bed full-service acute care teaching hospital in southwestern Dallas County, seeks a skilled Advanced Care Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team on the Neuro/Pulmonary unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver high-quality outcomes. As an Advanced Care Specialist, you will direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.
To qualify for this rewarding role, applicants must possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of professional nursing, preferably a BSN. Current Basic Life Support Certification is also required, along with additional certifications as necessary by department. A current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so is essential, as well as at least six months of RN experience.
