Key Responsibilities:
- Process prescription refills using automated dispensing systems and software.
- Count and package medications accurately, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on automated dispensing systems and equipment.
- Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions, answering patient questions, and resolving issues.
- Conduct inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications, supplies, and equipment.
- Process and manage purchase orders, invoices, and credits.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience in a community pharmacy or related field preferred.
- Successful completion of Shared Services Pharmacy Technician Training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and regulations.
