Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our patients.
  • Answer phones and obtain prescription refill information, referring complex questions to pharmacists.
  • Retrieve and store medications and related products according to pharmacy policy.
  • Control inventory for over-the-counter products and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills and aptitude, with good spelling and reading abilities.
  • Good typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Pharmacy experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Bending, grasping, and lifting up to 10lbs, with occasional driving and pushing/pulling up to 25lbs.
  • Standing, walking, and twisting for extended periods, with occasional sitting and pivoting.

Please note that this is a per diem position, and you will be required to work variable hours and shifts.
