About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our innovative team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Home and Community Rehabilitation Professional, you will play a vital role in providing functional rehabilitation services to individuals with complex neurological injuries.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and functional capabilities in patients' natural home and community environments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist
  • Conferring with Physical Therapists regularly regarding patient progress and status towards goals
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and reporting any issues to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
  • Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
