Job Summary

The Food Safety and Quality Systems Tech III will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving FSQ programs, procedures, and policies at Blount Fine Foods. This position requires an individual who can work independently and effectively communicate their findings to multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of FSQ programs, procedures, and policies.
  • Regularly assess the effective completion and documentation of FSQ systems through audits, trainings, validations, and verifications.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team regarding the safety and quality risks of new processes or special projects where FSQ representation is needed.
  • Generate and maintain reports and KPIs related to FSQ, outlining areas of opportunity and constraint.
  • Audit, inspect, coach, and ensure compliance with policies and standard operating procedures throughout the facility.
  • Assist with generating and answering noncompliance records (NCR/RCA/FSI/RA/Customer Complaints) for the facility.
  • Support FSQ Management with commercialization of new products to meet customer and consumer expectations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent); 2+ years related work experience in FSQ food manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working FSQ in a USDA facility strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers or employees of the organization.
