Job Description

Due to the increasing demand for mechanical and energy engineering expertise, we are seeking a highly skilled Decarbonization Subject Matter Expert - Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to work on innovative and complex projects at the forefront of the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational and technical guidance, training, and mentoring to our design resources in all areas of work associated with energy engineering and decarbonization/electrification projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with senior leadership on the development and implementation of growth strategy related to decarbonization/electrification.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients on energy and carbon goals, design concepts, and project economics.
  • Assist in the development of demand for our services related to decarbonization and electrification.
  • Supervise Mechanical discipline managers within an office or business unit for successful intra-office operations.
  • Ensure Mechanical discipline managers are consistently applying and complying with corporate quality management processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical training and development of staff related to energy planning, modeling, and life cycle cost analysis.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished mechanical engineer/PE with 20+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of mechanical systems, thermal energy infrastructure, and clean energy technologies.
  • Experience in technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success in meeting contract specifications and achieving high performance and advanced energy design standards.
  • Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
