KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role encompasses a variety of essential duties, responsibilities, and requirements, including but not limited to:

Customer Engagement:
Ensure exceptional customer service by guiding store personnel to deliver a friendly and attentive experience.

Welcome customers upon entry and express gratitude as they depart; assist with inquiries and provide recommendations.

Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Accurately process transactions using the cash register, managing various payment methods.

Operate multi-functional equipment such as fuel consoles and lottery machines.
Resolve routine customer issues within established protocols.
Maintain punctuality and adhere to appearance standards.

Store Maintenance:

Monitor the overall condition of the store and report any maintenance needs to management; oversee general housekeeping tasks, including:
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces, windows, and restrooms.
- Disposing of waste and debris.
- Ensuring equipment cleanliness, including coffee machines and refrigeration units.


Product Management:

Ensure product displays are well-stocked, rotated, and appealing to customers. Assist in inventory ordering and implement pricing changes according to company guidelines.


Sales Oversight:
Ensure compliance with company policies during sales transactions, coaching staff to accurately process sales and manage cash flow.

Financial Accountability:
Maintain precise records of cash, sales, payroll, and inventory.

Prepare daily financial reports and manage banking activities.

Address any discrepancies in sales or inventory.

Team Leadership:
Supervise store staff as directed, performing shift management duties when necessary.

Schedule employees in line with business needs to enhance customer service.

Provide training and feedback to staff to improve performance and assist in employee evaluations.

Safety and Security:

Collaborate with management to uphold a safe environment for both employees and customers, safeguarding company assets.

Report any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately.

Administrative Duties:

Assist in preparing sales and operational reports as needed. Attend relevant meetings and maintain proper inventory levels.

Conduct shift change procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year of retail and management experience preferred. Understanding of business principles and customer service.

Strong communication skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The role requires the ability to work in varying temperatures, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and manual dexterity.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks. Exposure to cold temperatures and noise may occur.
