Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vehicle Development Engineer to join our Vehicle Development Test team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of all vehicle level development tests to ensure we are delivering a quality product that meets customer needs.
Responsibilities:- Be responsible for the test vehicle fleet of a program, track and report fleet status to program teams.
- Work with Fleet Management team to ensure all test vehicles are updated with the required HW and SW configurations to meet test requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive or relevant industry.
- Experience with vehicle testing on proving grounds and fleet drives.
- A strong understanding of vehicle systems and system interactions.
- A strong understanding of vehicle testing standards.
- Strong data analysis and reporting experience.
- A strong knowledge of automotive testing instrumentation and tools.
- Experience setting up vehicles for specific test requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and resources at the same time.
- Self-starter with high levels of motivation and comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects
- Experience testing fully electric vehicles.
- Licensed by an OEM/Supplier/professional authority to drive prototype test vehicles.
- Masters' degree in a relevant engineering field
