Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering on-site repairs, troubleshooting, programming, or maintenance for robotic systems and associated equipment.
  • Offering telephone-based troubleshooting support to assist clients in resolving operational challenges.
  • Documenting performance and failure modes of robotic products and related equipment.
  • Providing daily updates to Service Management regarding status and availability.
  • Completing service reports for each client interaction.
  • Maintaining a toolkit to ensure prompt customer service.
  • Returning parts that were shipped for service but not purchased or defective items replaced under warranty.
  • Offering technical assistance to various departments within the company.
  • Conducting informal on-site training for client personnel to enhance their skills.
  • Gathering data for failure analysis related to recurring issues that may stem from design or manufacturing errors.
  • Programming and path editing of robotic systems to restore and optimize performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with robotic systems, controllers, and peripheral devices.
  • Familiarity with application software and programming for robotic systems.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation.
  • Capability to read and understand PLC ladder logic.
  • Proficiency in common PC applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to working safely and effectively within regulatory standards.
  • Strong technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently at client locations.
  • Able to lead the activities of other employees at client sites.
  • Associate's Degree in Applied Science or equivalent technical training preferred.
  • Experience in Robotics Integration, Installation, or Service is advantageous.
