Job Description
In this position as a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in delivering our purpose by modeling our values and demonstrating genuine care for patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, and be accountable for the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy. This includes:
  • patient safety
  • pharmacy professional practice
  • regulatory requirements
  • quality assurance
  • customer service
  • personnel management
  • inventory management
  • financial profitability
  • loss prevention
  • workflow management

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess an active Pharmacy License in the state where you are employed. Additionally, you should not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List, hold Immunization Certification through an accredited organization, and have no pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
