At AdventHealth Central Texas, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing basic and advanced respiratory services to patients of all ages.

Job Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for assessing patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans to improve lung function and overall health outcomes. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine respiratory clinical care, including medication administration, arterial puncture, breathing exercises, and retraining, as well as initiation and monitoring of oxygen therapy and pulse oximeters.
  • Perform critical care duties, such as initiating, managing, and discontinuing mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation assist, airway care, and attendance at deliveries and cardiopulmonary resuscitations, dependent on RRT level of professional development attained.
  • Prioritize work efficiently and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

About the Role: This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $73,440 - $104,470 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have opportunities for growth and professional development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
