Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pain Management Specialist to join our team at Pain Specialists of America LLC.

Job Description

A Clinical Pain Management Specialist will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in Texas, and board certification by either ANCC or AANP. Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform physical exams and patient observations
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms
  • Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Detect changes in a patient's health and change treatment plans as necessary
  • Administer medicines and treatments
  • Evaluate responses to treatments and medications
  • Consult with healthcare professionals
  • Train patients and families on managing pain
