Clinical Pharmacotherapy Specialist

About the RoleThis position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills to provide pharmaceutical care to patients in a clinical setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceuticals in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and organizational policy.
- Serving as a resource to other healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, pharmacy students, and residents.
- Consulting with nursing, medical staff, and patients regarding medications, orders, drug and pharmaceutical details, patient reactions, errors, and complaints, or the patients' caregivers.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pharmacy care modalities, pharmaceutical calculations, therapies, terminology, drug use, and aseptic techniques. They should be able to research, analyze, and disseminate information, understand and optimize complex processes, and communicate thoughts clearly both verbally and in writing.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- 3 years of experience as a pharmacist.
- Pharmacist (RPH) certification or residency training.
