Job Title: Customer Assistance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Assistance Specialist to join our team at Toyota Financial Services. As a key member of our Central Customer Assistance Team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Customer Assistance Specialist will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other customer inquiries related to account status, payments, and other financial services. You will work closely with customers to resolve issues, provide solutions, and ensure a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer payment history and communicate account status clearly and concisely.
  • Document all activities and interactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Negotiate with customers to bring accounts current and recommend solutions.
  • Use collection and skip tracing tools to maintain delinquencies and losses at or below corporate objectives.
  • Report and refer sensitive and complex issues to the Customer Assistance Supervisor.
  • Complete non-phone-based projects and account maintenance efforts.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Adaptability and coachability to work through complex changes and situations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous collections experience.
