Food Preparation Specialist:

  • Monitor and record refrigerator temperatures regularly.
  • Prepare and deliver morning and afternoon snacks to classrooms.
  • Organize and store school lunches in the refrigerator.
  • Create and manage labels for school lunches.
  • Receive and log temperatures of incoming lunches.
  • Distribute lunches to classrooms and ensure they are warmed as needed.
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory list of kitchen supplies and snacks, submitting requests for orders bi-weekly.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, counters, and equipment.
  • Keep the pantry well-stocked, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Sanitize lunch containers daily and maintain a clean refrigerator.
  • Dispose of any leftover staff food weekly.

Sanitation Coordinator:

  • Set up and maintain the three-compartment sink for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing.
  • Clean and sanitize the dish drying rack regularly.
  • Distribute cleaning supplies to classrooms and ensure their proper storage.
  • Perform daily cleaning of bottle bins.
  • Wash all dishes used for snacks.
  • Clean and sanitize sinks at the end of each day.
