Pharmacy Manager, Enterprise Pharmacy Strategic Initiatives

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our Enterprise Pharmacy Strategic Initiatives team. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve medication safety, quality, and patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, a California Pharmacist License, and at least 2 years of experience in clinical pharmacy services or supervisor/management experience. Post-graduate year (PGY) 1 and PGY-2 residency or equivalent practice experience is also preferred.
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing strategic pharmacy initiatives, including therapeutic breakthroughs, financial stewardship, transitions of care, employee prescription benefits, safety and quality, advocacy, and regulatory compliance. You will also be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, developing new processes, tools, and techniques, and performing gap analyses.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic pharmacy initiatives to improve medication safety, quality, and patient outcomes
- Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments
Requirements
- Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- California Pharmacist License
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical pharmacy services or supervisor/management experience

Working Conditions
This is an exempt position, and the successful candidate will be required to work a standard 8-hour day. The position will be based in Los Angeles, California, and the successful candidate will be required to work on-site at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
