Position Summary: The Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility will spearhead the development, execution, and oversight of CSR initiatives that resonate with our organizational values and strategic objectives. This position demands a visionary leader with a proven history of advancing social and environmental projects, cultivating partnerships, and bolstering our corporate image.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction: Formulate and implement a holistic CSR framework that aligns with our organizational mission and strategic goals. Ensure coherence with corporate ethics and stakeholder aspirations.
- Program Oversight: Direct the planning, implementation, and assessment of CSR initiatives, encompassing environmental stewardship, community involvement, charitable contributions, and employee engagement.
- Stakeholder Relations: Establish and nurture robust connections with both internal and external stakeholders, including team members, community entities, government agencies, and industry associations.
- Reporting and Transparency: Create and manage the CSR reporting structure, including the development of annual CSR documentation and communication resources. Guarantee clarity and effective dissemination of CSR efforts and outcomes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all CSR endeavors adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry benchmarks. Remain updated on CSR developments and best practices to perpetually refine our initiatives.
- Financial Management: Formulate and oversee the CSR financial plan, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with strategic imperatives.
- Team Development: Guide and mentor a team of CSR specialists. Promote a collaborative and results-driven workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years in CSR, sustainability, or a related domain, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Skills: Demonstrated capability to devise and execute impactful CSR strategies and programs. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of CSR trends, best practices, and regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB) is advantageous.
- Personal Qualities: A strategic thinker passionate about social and environmental impact. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
