GATEWAYS HOSPITAL & MENTAL HEALTH CENTER is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Clinician to join our team. As a Forensic Clinician, you will be responsible for providing forensically focused individual and group therapy, home visits, crisis intervention, case management services, and urine screens to an adult forensic population.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, or a related area from an accredited university and be licensed or license eligible. They will have a working knowledge of mental status examinations and current diagnostic manuals, as well as experience in providing individual and group treatment and training with multi-racial (ethnic) populations.
Responsibilities:- Provide forensically focused individual and group therapy
- Conduct home visits and crisis intervention
- Manage cases and provide urine screens
- Document all services provided within 24 hours
- Participate in all meetings and supervision activities
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Forensic Psychology, or a related area from an accredited university
- Licensed or license eligible
- Working knowledge of mental status examinations and current diagnostic manuals
- Experience in providing individual and group treatment and training with multi-racial (ethnic) populations
- Ability to work effectively with visitors, police, and community members
- Competitive salary range: $88,600.00 to $95,200.00
- Flexible work schedule (9/80)
