Position Overview:
Title: IT Controls System Support Executive
Location: Wilmington, NC
Duration: 3 Months
Role Scope:
This role involves participating in or occasionally leading projects aimed at achieving the objectives of the plant, driving cost reduction initiatives, and contributing to capacity expansion efforts. The individual will assist in managing the Client's warehouse system and facilitate coordination between planners and ERP application engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver production support and troubleshooting for continuous manufacturing operations.
- Work alongside production associates, technicians, and engineers to ensure the reliable operation of equipment through automated control systems and user interfaces.
- Support initiatives for process and product optimization and improvement.
- Be available for after-hours, on-call support as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an Associate's Degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Experience: 1-3 years in a technical or support role is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with databases and SQL is highly desirable.
- Helpdesk experience is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in production support within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to understand the underlying needs behind operational requests.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Occasional off-hours on-call support may be required.
