About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and repair any defects or malfunctions in the systems, and perform preventative maintenance to prevent future issues.
  • Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the systems.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective inspection and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems and fire protection.
  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals.
  • Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • NICET Level II certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Repair experience.
  • Backflow certification.
