BIM Manager Job Description

As a BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Design & Engineering team on high-profile projects from design to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee BIM strategy for select projects, ensuring high-quality models and efficient processes.
  • Coordinate the review and validation of construction models, including 4D/5D contractor model submittals.
  • Provide technical BIM leadership at a project level, understanding client needs and implementing improvements in modeling and BIM processes.
  • Liaise with Country BIM leads to ensure global standards and best practices are followed.
  • Review progress, compliance, and clash detection reports produced by the project team.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience working with BIM environments and applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Information Management, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in integrating and applying BIM in a multi-disciplinary environment, managing a team of more than 5 BIM modellers.
  • Extensive understanding of Common Data Environment platforms, particularly Autodesk BIM360 and/or the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Highly proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and working knowledge of Bentley system application MicroStation.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of Dynamo visual programming and experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Premier Pro, 3Ds Max, and Sketchup.
