Job Overview

Fronza & Francis is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee construction projects, coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise project work, liaise between field engineering, estimating, and workforce to ensure project compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedule for assigned project work, reviewing daily work schedule with direct reports and updating monthly schedule from project feedback.
  • Review and understand project specifications to support job set up activities, working with work crews, field engineers, and local utility companies to identify hazardous areas on the job site.
  • Forecast work schedule to identify possible issues and provide technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues.
  • Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks, including construction methods, work plan, and material requirements, safety, and schedule activities, documenting daily activities and meeting notes using company-approved document methods.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, or budget activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Attend workshops, pre-bid meetings, and trade meetings, seminars germane to the construction industry to maintain knowledge of the industry and learn from the community of owners, primes, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7-10 years of relevant construction management experience.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proven ability to follow through with completion.
  • Proficiency in ProCore, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and Primavera P6.
