We are seeking a highly qualified physician or clinician scientist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The successful candidate will have a strong background in addiction research and a proven track record of developing and maintaining an independent clinical research program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain an independent clinical research program related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence
- Foster bridges between basic science and clinical addiction medicine programs
- Conduct research and publish findings in reputable scientific journals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including trainees from various disciplines
- PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree
- Postdoctoral training preferred
- Research experience relevant to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence disorders
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with interdisciplinary teams
