The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a highly qualified physician or clinician scientist to join the Department of Psychiatry and the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies. The successful candidate will have significant experience in addiction research and a strong track record of independent clinical research related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree and postdoctoral training. They will have research experience relevant to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence disorders, a record of relevant publications and scholarly activity, and strong clinical skills. The ability to work with an inter-disciplinary team, including trainees from a variety of disciplines, is essential.
