The Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time faculty member with expertise in acute lung disease. The successful candidate will provide care for patients with advanced lung disease, including Interstitial Lung Diseases, in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Additionally, the position will involve teaching and mentoring students, residents, and fellows, as well as opportunities for clinical research.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine
- Completion of fellowship training in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in managing patients with Interstitial Lung Diseases
- Interest and skills in resident and fellow teaching
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with a team of specialist physicians, pharmacists, nurses, radiologists, and pathologists
