We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a 178-bed Skilled Nursing Facility serving the Denver-metro area since 1965.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
  • Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position
  • Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups preferred
  • Safe food handling techniques are required
  • Ability to read and understand recipes
  • Work in a team environment
  • Work flexible shifts
  • Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing
