Position Overview: Reporting to the Home Care Supervisor, the Home Care Caregiver is responsible for delivering personal care services to participants in their residences, following scheduled directives.

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Pasadena, CA area
  • Requirements: Valid CA Driver's License and Auto insurance

Work Commitment: Ability to work 40 hours a week - No part-time work - No overnight shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to participants, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
  • Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Measure and document vital signs as instructed, and assist with light meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Facilitate safe transfers in and out of residences and act as a medical escort for appointments as required.
  • Support the Rehabilitation department by implementing home exercise programs as outlined in care plans, following appropriate training.
  • Provide translation services when qualified.
