POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor is tasked with managing and directing the daily functions of the production area. The Production Supervisor is pivotal in guiding and enhancing the production workforce, driving continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and protocols.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies is advantageous.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on motivating and developing team members.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety and ongoing improvement.

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, Quality, Logistics) to address production challenges and enhance workflow.
